NATIONAL NUMBER GUIDELINES:
Beginning January 2, 2012 - EARNED NUMBER CONFIRMATION:
Riders earning National Numbers in 2011 are ranked and have been assigned 2012 National Numbers accordingly. However, it is not uncommon for riders to request a different number for competition. This results in many unused numbers throughout the racing season. To help alleviate problems, we request that all riders that have earned national numbers contact GNCC Racing and confirm that they will be using their assigned national number. Or, in the event they desire to use a different number, they may so request. It is also important to know what class you will be competing in, as numbers earned in the 10am race do not transfer to the 1pm race, and vice versa, unless requested by the rider
Beginning January 8, 2012 - NUMBER RESERVATION REQUEST:
In addition to the riders who earned 2012 National Numbers, riders who participated in at least six (6) GNCC events in 2011 may request a number.
Beginning February 1, 2012 - EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES:
Riders who do not meet the above requirements for various reasons (i.e., injury) but who met the same requirements in 2011, may submit a request citing the reasons why they did not meet the requirements in 2012 and requesting a reserved number. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
After 4 rounds in 2012:
Riders who do not meet the above requirements can request a number once they have competed in 4 rounds of the current GNCC season, so long as their intent is to compete in at least nine (9) total events during the season.
