The Hoag Classic is proud to host our 9th annual CoreLogic Military Day celebrating Folds of Honor Friday on Friday, March 21st. Since its origin in 2015, the event has grown into one of the highlights of tournament week. On this day all active duty, military reserve, national guard, military retirees and veterans receive complimentary admission and food service for themselves and a guest (one guest).
Each year the Hoag Classic selects individuals who have distinguished themselves within our country and community and honors those heroes. This year all honorees will be publicly recognized on the 18th hole in between groups on Friday. These individuals are then added to the Colonel Norman G. Ewers Military Wall of Honor, which pays special tribute to our honorees.
The tournament also donates to numerous military charities. Our partnering organizations include the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and the United States Navy Memorial. In 2024, the tournament donated over $48,000 to our partner organizations. Each year the program continues to grow with the support of our many corporate partners. In 2025, we are excited to welcome Folds of Honor as a new partner, through which we will award thirteen scholarships of $5,000 each to military personnel and First Responders.
