Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2022 Georgia Summer Special Olympic Games at the Tennis Venue at Emory University.  The ALTA Foundation has been a proud partner of the games since 2003.  In addition to financial support, we help Special Olympics Georgia recruit volunteers to help with the execution of the games.  Our local tennis community has donated over 15,000 hours supporting this very special group of athletes as they compete in a sport we all love.

No experience is necessary to be a Special Olympics Tennis volunteer.  Positions to be filled include umpires, ball persons, scorekeepers, timekeepers, skills feeders, etc..    You bring your smile and we'll guide you through what to do.  We welcome all volunteers over the age of 8 - with parental accompianment for children under the age of 16.  Those serving as umpires should be 18 and over with a general knowledge of the game of tennis.  Clicking "Next" below will take you to the volunteer schedule for the tennis games.  We are looking to fill multiple 2 -3  hour shifts on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

A standard Special Olympics Covid Release Waiver and Participant Code of Conduct, included in this application, is required for all participants and volunteers at the games.  Current Emory University Visitor Covid Guidelines and Policies will be in effect for day of event volunteers.

Thank you again for your interest in a volunteer position for the 2022 Georgia Summer Olympic Special Games at the Tennis Venue.  We couldn't do this without you!
