***Showcase Management strongly discourages the use of debit cards as a method of securing your room reservations. Debit cards are directly linked to your bank account and thus hotels may withdraw funds for estimated room tax and incidentals for your entire stay. These funds cannot be immediately returned to you at check-out if you change your method of payment, nor can they be returned if the amount charged is greater than the amount due. If you choose to use your debit card, any refund you are due will be credited back to your debit card and will most likely not be in your bank account until 7-10 days later. *** Should this event be cancelled for reasons beyond the Event Coordinators control (including weather) by 4 p.m., 24 hours preceding check-in, all rooms will be released at no charge. Should this event be cut short due to reasons beyond the Event Coordinators control (including weather) the remainder of the indifividual's reservation will be non-refundable (i.e., the individual will be responsible for the minimum stay required by the hotel, including taxes.
