The purpose of the DEI Committee is to act as an advisory group to NAPNAP’s Executive Board with respect to issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion throughout the Association. The committee will guide the association in adopting strategies to integrate best practices into all aspects of its work for members, staff and the Executive Board. The committee is composed of seven members who are expected to:
1) Attend and contribute to committee meetings (via video-conference), estimated to number up to six meetings per year.
2) Prepare for meetings by reading the assigned materials and undertaking actions previously agreed to.
Terms:
1) In 2021, three members were appointed by the President-Elect to three-year terms
2) In 2021, two members were appointed by the President-Elect to two-year terms
3) In 2022, two additional members will be appointed by the President-Elect to three-year terms
4) All members will be eligible to serve for an additional three-year term, at the discretion of the President- Elect
Leadership positions are appointed by the President-Elect:
1) Chair, three-year term
2) Co-chair, two-year term
