Trunk-or-Treat 2023

The Trunk-or-Treat portion of the Halloween Spooktacular event is a great way for local businesses and organizations to interact with families and future participants in the community, showcase program offerings, distribute approved marketing materials, and provide a fun and safe Halloween experience for families. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 13th. For more information, please view our Trunk-or-Treat registration information packet.

Participating businesses will not be permitted to solicit business during the event and all proposed activities will be subject to approval.

Organizations are encouraged to provide fun games, activities, or themed challenges that youth can participate in, in addition to having candy/small toys to hand out. Please describe your game/activity (We encourage you to avoid something that requires bending/stooping to reset or pick-up pieces): *

Please describe how you will decorate your trunk (it should be appropriate for children under 10). Note: there will be no access to electricity available. *

Please indicate any promotional items you plan to submit for review to be distributed at this event (ie. ads, fliers, or novelty items). *

If you are not an existing partner or currently on contract with the City, you will be required to submit general liability in an amount no less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence and naming the City of Newport Beach, its City Council, boards and commissions, officers, agents, volunteers and employees as an additional holder on the policy.
