GENERAL SUMMARY: The Front Office Coordinator manages a variety of front office functions and is key to smooth operation of a dynamic outpatient wound care center as well as performs general office duties to assist the staff of the WCC.

EDUCATION - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology at a level normally acquired through completion of two years post high school training in an allied health science such as nursing or radio logic technology and knowledge of ultrasound techniques and procedures as generally acquired through six months to one year related training.    

EXPERIENCE - Approximately three to six months' on-the-job training necessary to acquire efficiency in operating sonographic equipment, learn hospital and departmental policies and procedures, and the like. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to explain procedures to

patients and allay apprehensions and to discuss test results with physicians. Analytical skills necessary to effectively detect Pathologies based on knowledge of physiological cause and effect of diseases. Understand radiation safety procedures.
