Refresh and Recharge at this Retreat for Advisers of Student Media where you can breathe the forest air and watch bald eagles glide over beautiful Dumas Bay in Washington State.

August 5-7, 2024: $625 includes single room and all meals and materials: Starts at 10am on 8/5 and ends at 4 pm on 8/7. Transportation from/to SEA/TAC Airport available. Please register by June 15 for $625 rate. After June 15: $650. Final cut-off when capacity is reached or July 15, whichever comes first. Commuter rate available for $425 and includes all meals.

Continuing Education OSPI Clock Hours: Up to 15 available at $4 per hour. This will be billed separately. (Attendees from out of state may or may not earn continuing education credits for WJEA's program, depending on individual state requirements.)

BONUS: Optional JEA Certification Testing will take place on site on August 5 from 1-3 p.m. For those seeking to become Certified Journalism Educators or those who wish to move from CJE to Master Journalism Educator, this is a way to meet requirements prior to the 2025 National Convention in Seattle.

The Washington state certification division requires that payment for clock hours be made by the individual, not by their employer.
