WJEA 2023 JOURNALISM SUMMER PROGRAM TEACHERS WHO ADVISE STUDENT MEDIA and/or STUDENT JOURNALISTS

July 25 - 28 at Washington State University, Pullman

The Washington Journalism Education Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional organization for teachers who advise student media in Washington state schools.

The Media Adviser Workshop provides intensive training for novice advisers and advanced learning for veteran advisers, as well as networking and time to recharge.

This summer experience for students (J-Camp) is geared to provide them with the practical knowledge and journalistic skills that will enable them to produce quality media content for their school communities. The WJEA J-Camp features a simulation project that trains students to function as part of a team to produce a final journalistic product in print or as a broadcast.
WJEA is pleased to partner with The WSU Edward R. Murrrow College of Communication.
