How would you like to tour the library?

The library is designed for self-guided exploration. Self-guided visits are led and paced by the tour leaders, teachers and chaperones. By scheduling a self-guided group visit, you will receive discounted admissions prices and a personalized in-depth museum introduction by one of our gallery attendants upon arrival. Gallery attendants are also located throughout the exhibits to provide further context and to answer questions.

We rely on the time of volunteer tour docents for educational guided tours, so we currently only offer them to school groups. Guided tours are visits led and paced by our skilled tour docents. Adult groups should be scheduled as self-guided. Please email us at visit@lbjlibrary.org regarding any special circumstances that would require a docent-led tour for a non-school group.
