Dean Conway Coach Education Grant

The Dean Conway Coach Education Grant aims to empower coaches in urban and underrepresented communities by providing comprehensive support to attain U.S. Soccer coaching licenses (D, C, B, and A levels). By improving coaching quality through increased license attainment, we seek to enhance youth sports programs, promote physical activity, and foster personal development among young athletes.

Through these grants, we seek to improve the skills and knowledge of coaches, leading to better youth engagement, retention, and overall athlete performance.

Candidates should display aspirations to attain coaching licenses (D, C, B or A levels) with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continued coaching opportunities in Massachusetts for the next 2 years. The ideal candidates show a track record of community engagement, mentorship and an understanding of youth development principles.

Interested candidates should submit a coaching resume, a cover letter detailing their experience, passion for coaching and intentions for the future, most recent tax statement, and references from previous coaching or youth development roles.
