Equal Heart is activating a Disaster Relief Team to assist with COVID-19 response.
If your nonprofit is committed to staying open throughout the crisis, and need AmeriCorps members in order to stay open and responsive – let us know by submitting the form below.
AmeriCorps members serve an 8-week term and perform 300 hours of direct service. Members can start as soon as possible – timing is dependent on how fast you can identify recruits and get them in the pipeline for us to process their background checks and onboard them.
AmeriCorps members earn a living allowance of $2,000 (bi-weekly payments of $500); and an education award of $1,289.
Partner sites recruit, train, and supervise the AmeriCorps members. Equal Heart processes payroll, supports site operations, and manages all backend administrative functions. This model allows partner sites to focus on providing relief to the community. There is no cost to partner agencies for Disaster Relief Team members.
