Referrer to read in its entirety the following to the client…

Aatea requires whanau to be fully informed of the multiple agencies involved as part of the consent to refer process.

Aatea works by bringing multiple agencies together.

In consenting to this referral, you consent to Aatea presenting the referral to a panel where multiple agencies such as Ministry of Social Development, Oranga Tamariki, NZ Police, Kainga Ora, Te Whatu Ora, and the Ministry of Education sit. Information will be shared about them in a way that is relevant, and in which works towards identifying support and need, solely for the purpose of the child’s plan.

Please note not all cases referred to Aatea are accepted, and the referrer will be advised of the outcome.
