Honors Program Application

Newcomb-Tulane College students with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher may apply to join the Honors Program at any time after their first semester of study. Entering transfer students who wish to join the Honors Program will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Students admitted to the Honors Program after their first semester are required to enroll in Honors coursework as follows:

Students entering after the first semester of study:
-COLQ 1030 or an Honors section of TIDB 1110 in the second semester
-COLQ 2010 in the fall or spring of the sophomore year

Students entering after the first year of study:
-COLQ 2010 in the fall or spring of the sophomore year

Students entering after the second year of study:
-COLQ 4013 in the spring of the junior year
