It is expressly understood that participation in the Castaways Against Cancer Tour Kick Off Event is at the participant’s own risk. I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, assigns, and any minor participant in my care, hereby voluntarily release, waive, and forever discharge Castaways Against Cancer, Inc., Christopher Columbus High School, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and any other entities or individuals directly or indirectly connected with the event (collectively referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions, or causes of action arising out of or in any way related to any injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss arising from or in connection with my participation in the event, including but not limited to, claims based on the negligence of any of the Released Parties. I further understand and agree that this waiver includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Released Parties, whether an injury occurs before, during, or after participation in the event. This waiver extends to any claims arising from participation by minor participants under my care or custody. *
